I'm Yakov Harkdan, also known as
"The Twins from France"
I was born and raised in Marseille, France, with my twin brother Israel
At age 13, we studied in a yeshiva in Paris, where we discovered our love for acrobatics and tricks. we where practicing during recess
By 15, we began performing at small community events
At 17, we moved to a yeshiva in Bnei Brak, Israel, and started performing at weddings and bar mitzvahs, mainly in the ultra-Orthodox community across the country
At 20, we left everything and moved to a yeshiva in New York, where we became better known as
"The Twins from France"
For 10 years, we performed in schools and summer camps within New York's Orthodox Jewish community
In 2019, just before COVID, I made aliyah to Israel with my family
My brother is still in New York with his family. We hope, God willing, that he will soon join us in Israel so we can perform together again
